OMC vs. OME

Heyy everyone. To my regular readers, this is yet another nerdy Twilight thing. Just stand by and revel in the fact that, even though you actually waste your time reading the nerdiest blog on the planet, you are not certifiably Twilight-insane.

Everyone else, here's the place to let your voice be heard in the 'Oh My Edward [OME]' vs. 'Oh My Carlisle [OMC]' debate-type thingy that I'm trying to get started. Head to the polls at the bottom of this post, and post comments to let your voice be heard. If this actually takes off, I'll make a new blog totally dedicated to it, but for now, lets stick to this one.

*Sigh* I wish I had someone to think that the sun shines out of my ass. That would just totally make my day.

So tomorrow is the dreaded day. But, somehow, I'm not really dreading it all that much. Maybe the tiny annoying romantic in my head is just hoping that someone will make my Valentine's Day not suck for once. Maybe, but not likely. Oh well, even if I just have an average -and by 'average' I mean 'miserable'- Valentine's Day, there will be cookies. And everyone knows that cookies make everything better.

Oh yeah, those cookies, I'm currently baking about forty thousand of them for my buddies. I know, I rock. =]

In other news, most of the major characters have been cast, finally! I can hardly contain the excitement..Or at least I wouldn't be able to if I actually liked most of the cast. The confirmed castings are as follows [click link for pictures]:

That's everyone that's been cast and announced so far. I'm going to try really really really really hard not to pass judgment until I start seeing trailers and promotional stills and stuff, but its hard. All I have to say is this: The producers have one hell of a job ahead of them if they want to make this movie accurate. Which, by the way, doesn't seem to be happening.

Hmm..What else, what else? I really don't know right now. I'll think of something later, I'm sure. For now, I need to get off and finish with the cookies. I ran out of cute little Valentine's bags, so now I'm using pink plastic wrap. Plus, Chip needs the computer for some project he's been putting off for a few weeks. He is just like me..I am so proud. Yeah..the accent could be a problem, but some really good actors can turn off accents. Like Hugh Laurie from House is British, but he does 'American' so well that you totally can't tell. Jesse is a little young, especially if we're going with Mariska as Esme, but I still think he could do it... All of the Cullens are supposed to be good looking, its part of being a vampire, being attractive to humans, aka their intended prey.

Turkey and Twilight (Part 1)

Hey everyone! Well, as of right now my only confirmed readers are my parents and Kayla, so hey Mom, Dad, and Kayla! Hope everyone's having a good Thanksgiving so far. But its only 10:58 so seriously, how could it be bad?

As anyone who's anyone (or anyone who has had the pleasure of witnessing an "I'm Bella!" "No I'm Bella!" argument in the hallways of Karns High School) knows, Kayla and I are obsessed with Stephenie Meyer's amazing Twilight series. Now, I have only ready the first two books (Twilight and New Moon) because four unbelievably obnoxious people at school have yet to return the third (Eclipse) to the library, but that is beside the point. The point is that the Twilight movie is now in preproduction, and Kayla and I have taken it upon ourselves to cast it. So here are our casting decisions as of November 18th. There are more to come, as a matter of fact the Myspace message I'll be copying in here is still ongoing, but as of now its a little off topic, so here is the good stuff.
